Day 19

Early morning walk across the Charles Bridge to better see all the statues, then climbed Petrov hill (funicular out of order!). The tower on top of the hill has 300 steps to the top, so we decided to ride the lift to the top. Great view of Prague, although quite foggy-Max temp today of 11'C with light showers!!
Have invested in some leather gloves & am considering some head attire!

The Autumn colours are even more spectacular from the top!

Walked back down the hill to catch tram to Prague Markets on this side of river-not very exciting (usual stuff).
Wandered back into town & found a brewery pub (to get out of the cold) that only served one type of beer (stout) that's brewed on the premises, and they insist you drink it with a honey schnaps accompaniment!

Note the live music in the background!!

After check-in went for long walk through town to acquaint ourselves. Started to rain. Spending late pm in hotel researching.
Cal caught up with mates Heath & Luke.
Prague not as cheap as Brno!

Laundry, then dinner out in a cool restaurant that has a miniature railway through the restaurant that delivered your drinks!
